In the Department of Movement and Training Science, we conduct research into sensorimotor control mechanisms, sport-related questions of perception and action, the teaching and learning of movement in sport and the relationship between sport and sleep. In addition, we develop technologies to improve athletic performance and are actively involved in theory development, the discussion on interdisciplinary sports science and the creation of teaching materials. Our research areas are described in detail below.
